- Prepare each evaluation and therapy session with attention to patient needs and current best practices.
- Deliver education to interdisciplinary staff—such as nurses, physicians, dietitians, and support staff—regarding new research, therapy results, and recommendations.
- Design and present in-service opportunities to advance staff knowledge in speech-language pathology.
- Collaborate with physicians and allied health staff for a patient-centered approach.
- Maintain a clean, organized therapy environment following each session.
- Provide appointment reminders and support navigation for patients and families within the hospital.
- Assist with other duties as needed to support high-quality services.
Qualifications:
- Valid and active Speech-Language Pathology licensure.
- Experience providing therapy in hospital settings strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated skill working with diverse patient populations and interdisciplinary teams.
