Schedule:
- 13-week assignment
- 36 hours guaranteed per week
Qualifications:
- Active SLP license required
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in hospital-based therapy
- Background in adult patient care and interdisciplinary teams preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Assess and treat a varied caseload of patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement dynamic, patient-centered therapy plans
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing, and therapy colleagues
- Document progress, maintain accurate patient records, and support discharge planning
- Educate patients and families to facilitate effective rehabilitation
