Travel Speech Language Pathologist | Tuba City, Arizona

Schedule/Hours:

• Regular work week (no weekend services at this time)
• Orientation every two weeks

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in SLP from ASHA (must be maintained throughout employment)
• Unrestricted, valid Speech-Language Pathology license (Arizona or any U.S. state, D.C., or Puerto Rico)
• At least 2 years of experience as a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Meets credentialing requirements for Medical Staff
• SLPA credentials not accepted

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and/or language therapy services for inpatient and outpatient populations, from birth to geriatric
• Assess, interpret, and document evaluations in electronic health records
• Develop and adjust treatment plans, and set realistic therapy goals
• Provide specialty services: swallowing evaluation and treatment (including VFSS/MBS, FEES), cognitive and voice therapies, pediatric treatments, and geriatric clinic participation
• Select and implement therapy tailored to patient needs, and train families, patients, and staff in support programs
• Participate in continuous quality improvement, risk management, and safety initiatives
• Provide training and in-services for staff and students
• Foster interdisciplinary collaboration with physicians and allied health professionals
