As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), you will deliver high-quality therapy services for patients spanning newborns to geriatrics in both inpatient and outpatient hospital environments. This role allows you to collaborate with a dedicated Physical Rehabilitation team and a range of healthcare professionals, encouraging growth and the exchange of innovative approaches in care. Exposure to diverse workplace practices and leadership philosophies will expand your professional resume while supporting quality improvements and excellence in patient outcomes.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Regular work week (weekends currently not required)
  • Orientation sessions every two weeks

Essential Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited institution
  • Active ASHA CCC (Certification of Clinical Competence)
  • Valid, unrestricted Speech-Language Pathology license (Arizona or any recognized US jurisdiction)
  • Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • At least 2 years of experience as a licensed SLP
  • Ability to complete medical staff credentialing requirements

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, interpret test results, develop and implement patient-centered therapy plans
  • Provide treatment for speech, language, swallowing, cognition, and voice including pediatric and geriatric care
  • Maintain accurate electronic health record documentation
  • Educate patients, families, and team members on therapy plans and at-home interventions
  • Participate in specialty evaluations (e.g., VFSS, FEES, pediatric feeding)
  • Collaborate in continuous quality improvement and staff education initiatives
