Speech Language Pathology (SLP) | North Adams, Massachusetts
Exciting opportunity available for an experienced speech-language pathologist to provide high-quality home health therapy services through a leading healthcare agency’s hospital program. In this rewarding contract role, you’ll offer individualized patient care and collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team to design and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
Key requirements:
- Valid and current SLP license
- At least one year of recent experience in hospital-based therapy, preferably with a home health component
- Thorough understanding of patient assessment, care planning, and documentation protocols
- Ability to travel to clients’ homes as needed; must reside more than 50 miles away from the facility
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
- Excellent organizational, communication, and recordkeeping skills
Schedule & Assignment Details:
- Contract-based, travel role
- Non-billable orientation: 8 hours
- All requested time off must be included at profile submission (maximum 5 days)
- Candidates must provide at least two specific interview dates/times (generic "anytime" not accepted)
- No call or charge responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering direct speech therapy to patients in their homes
- Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals to develop and adjust individualized care plans
- Accurately documenting patient progress and maintaining detailed reports
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to care plan reviews
