Schedule/Hours
- 13-week assignment
- 36 hours guaranteed per week
Key Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Previous hospital-based therapy experience strongly preferred
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Commitment to patient-focused, compassionate care
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat patients across a range of speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
- Develop individualized therapeutic plans in collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Document all assessments, progress notes, and outcomes according to hospital standards
- Provide patient and family education to support recovery and rehabilitation
- Contribute actively to team meetings and case reviews
