- Participation in required facility and company meetings and trainings
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active ASHA certification and valid state SLP licensure
- Prior clinical experience with screenings, evaluations, and rehabilitation of speech, cognitive, or swallowing disorders in a hospital setting preferred
- Familiarity with standardized assessments, evidence-based practices, and electronic documentation systems
- Knowledge of DME/supply protocols and regulatory compliance
- Ability to provide supervision to CFY or student SLPs
- Strong communication and interdisciplinary teamwork skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and formulate patient-specific plans of care
- Deliver therapy and adjust interventions guided by patient progress and clinical best practices
- Document all clinical activities and outcomes in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards
- Complete thorough discharge summaries
- Consult and educate patients, families, and healthcare team on speech-language treatment and progress
- Accurately record treatment minutes and prepare regulatory reports
- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings, trainings, and in-services
- Uphold ASHA and state professional codes of conduct and ethics
