Speech Pathologist - Cheney, WA
This position is for a certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in hospital therapy, with a focus on rehabilitation services. The role is based in Cheney, WA, offering a dynamic environment where you will provide expert therapy to patients in a respected rehabilitation medical center. Responsibilities include:
- Delivering speech-language therapy services in a hospital rehabilitation setting.
- Floating between different units as needed.
- Managing a patient caseload with an expected ratio of 8 patients.
- Utilizing Epic charting systems for documentation.
- Working day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, five days per week.
- Participating in weekend shifts every six weekends.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is mandatory.
- Experience working within a hospital or rehabilitation setting preferred.
- Ability to adapt to floating between units.
- Comfortable using Epic electronic health record systems.
- Willingness to work scheduled weekends as required.
