Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current and valid SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Prior experience working in hospital or acute care settings
- Excellent communication, assessment, and documentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions and monitor progress
- Educate patients, families, and staff regarding treatment plans and strategies
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in electronic health records
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to comprehensive patient care planning
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
