Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging virtual therapy services to students with speech and language disorders.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify specific areas of need.
  • Develop and implement personalized education plans, diligently tracking progress along the way.
  • Provide consultation and support to teachers, parents, and school staff, sharing effective therapy strategies.
  • Collaborate with occupational therapists, physical therapists, and school administrators to address students' academic and social-emotional needs.

Qualifications:

  • Hold a Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited institution.
  • Possess current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Bring a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a K-12 educational setting.
  • Proficient in utilizing teletherapy and other remote technology for therapy and assessments.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state special education laws and regulations.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and effective communication abilities with students, parents, and school staff.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a full-time caseload.
