School-Based Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - Wilmington, Massachusetts

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid and current SLPA credential or license, meeting state requirements
- Prior experience in a school or elementary caseload preferred
- Familiarity with assisting in speech and language therapy activities
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to build rapport with young students, teachers, and families
- Flexibility and enthusiasm for working in a collaborative school environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to implement therapy plans for elementary-aged students
- Provide direct and small group support to help students develop communication skills
- Track progress, gather data, and provide input for Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
- Prepare materials and adapt activities to students’ diverse learning needs
- Communicate and collaborate with teaching staff and other professionals
- Maintain student confidentiality and comply with school policies
