Key Qualifications:
- Active SLPA license or certification
- Previous experience working in a school environment preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Ability to follow treatment plans developed by supervising SLPs
- Passion for supporting children’s speech and language development
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to elementary students as outlined by supervising speech-language pathologists
- Assist with screenings, assessments, and progress monitoring under the supervision of an SLP
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and session notes
- Support the integration of therapy goals within classroom and school routines
- Foster a positive, encouraging atmosphere for students of varied backgrounds and needs
- Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and families as needed
