School Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) | Sacramento, California
Step into a rewarding role supporting K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) for the upcoming 2026/2027 school year. We're seeking dedicated professionals to fill three full-time, on-site positions in the Sacramento area. As part of our valued team, you'll be instrumental in helping students develop essential communication skills while enjoying the structure and support of a collaborative educational environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid SLPA licensure and credentials required
- Background in school-based services, preferably working with K-12 students
- Passion for empowering young learners and implementing individualized educational plans
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet diverse student needs
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Assist with assessment, intervention, and progress tracking for students on caseload
- Accurately document sessions, maintain student records, and provide updates to supervising SLPs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development as appropriate
- Foster a supportive and inclusive atmosphere within school settings
