Key Qualifications:

  • Active SLPA license or certification required
  • Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting, preferably at the elementary level
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Organized and comfortable managing caseloads of around 40 students
  • Ability to integrate seamlessly with teachers, SLPs, and school staff
  • Energetic, compassionate, and dedicated to positive student outcomes

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct therapy under the supervision of licensed SLPs
  • Assist with speech and language screenings, assessments, and interventions
  • Prepare materials and activities targeting individualized student goals
  • Track and document student progress in compliance with school policies
  • Collaborate with staff and families to implement effective strategies in the classroom
  • Contribute to IEP meetings and maintain thorough records
  • Promote a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students
