Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in Troy, TX

You’ll provide therapy services, collaborate with supervising Speech-Language Pathologists, maintain student documentation, and help implement individualized treatment plans. Your work will be essential in helping students build confidence and communication skills in the classroom and beyond.
Qualifications:
- Current, active SLPA license for Texas
- Familiarity with school-based therapy services for elementary-aged students
- Strong communication, organization, and record-keeping abilities
- Commitment to ethical, student-centered care
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct treatment to a caseload of 32 elementary students under SLP supervision
- Assist with speech and language screenings, therapy sessions, and progress monitoring
- Document student progress and communicate updates with educational staff and families
- Support creation and adaptation of instructional materials for students’ needs
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
