Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Active SLPA license and credentials
- Proven experience in a school setting preferred
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English required
- Demonstrated cultural competence in working with diverse students
- Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary educational team
- Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students under the supervision of a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Implement therapy goals tailored to each student’s IEP
- Support both Spanish- and English-speaking students in their communication needs
- Accurately document student progress and contribute to IEP meetings as needed
- Adapt materials and activities to support language development in a multicultural setting
- Participate in school-based meetings and professional development as assigned
