Desired Qualifications:
- Current, active SLPA license in the state of Texas
- Previous experience in a school setting, or enthusiasm to provide care to students K-12
- Strong communication skills with an ability to build rapport with students, families, and educators
- Commitment to best clinical practices and ethical standards
- Collaborative approach, eager to work alongside SLP supervisors and interdisciplinary teams
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct treatment and support under the supervision of an SLP
- Deliver individualized or small group therapy sessions as directed by IEPs
- Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and activities
- Assist in screening and assessment procedures as needed
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the school community
- Help ensure caseloads remain balanced and services are delivered effectively
