Multiple positions are available.
Key Qualifications:
- Current SLPA license or eligibility in the state of Massachusetts
- Experience working in educational settings, preferably in schools
- Previous caseload experience with K-12th grade students is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with students, teachers, and families
- Ability to support bilingual populations is valued; proficiency in Spanish and Portuguese is preferred but not required
Primary Responsibilities:
- Work closely under the supervision of licensed Speech-Language Pathologists to conduct therapy sessions tailored to individual student needs
- Implement treatment plans for speech, language, and communication goals within classroom and small group settings
- Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and assist with progress reports
- Provide support to teachers and other staff in implementing communication strategies
- Participate in school-based meetings, training, and professional development as needed
- Foster an inclusive, encouraging atmosphere where students feel empowered to communicate
