Qualifications & Experience Desired:
- Valid SLPA credential
- Experience in school settings preferred, but open to enthusiastic new graduates
- Understanding of IEP process, student documentation, and progress monitoring
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
- Commitment to supporting students of varying backgrounds and abilities
- Adaptable, organized, and solutions-oriented mindset
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement speech and language goals under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Provide direct intervention services to K-12 students, individually and in small groups
- Assist with assessments and administer therapeutic activities
- Track progress, maintain records, and assist with preparation of reports
- Collaborate actively with teachers, staff, and families to support student growth
- Support classroom integration of communication strategies
