You'll partner with a seasoned virtual SLP (working at .5 FTE) who manages a manageable caseload (in the 30s), focusing on evaluations, IEP development, and providing your clinical supervision. The primary responsibility for this role is direct delivery of speech-language services to students, helping them achieve their individualized communication goals.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Active SLPA licensure or eligibility in Washington state
- Experience working in school settings or pediatric environments preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with supervising SLP and other team members
- Familiarity with IEP processes and delivering therapy aligned to specific student goals
- Comfort navigating both in-person and virtual communications as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students, implementing treatment plans designed by the supervising SLP
- Maintain accurate and timely progress notes and documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student success
- Participate in meetings and professional development as required
- Assist with preparation of materials and data collection for the SLP’s evaluations and IEPs
