Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - Tacoma, WA

In this role, your primary responsibility will be the direct delivery of speech-language services to students, allowing you to utilize your skills fully within a supportive and structured environment. The supervising SLP oversees IEPs, evaluations, and provides thorough supervision so you can concentrate on providing high-quality, hands-on services that help students thrive.
Qualifications & Experience Desired:
- Valid SLPA licensure and eligibility to practice in Washington State
- Experience in both school-based and healthcare SLPA settings is highly valued
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration abilities
- Commitment to following supervision protocols and contributing to student progress
- Familiarity with virtual collaboration platforms is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language interventions to students as outlined in IEPs
- Collaborate with your supervising SLP for guidance and feedback
- Accurately document session data, progress, and maintain communication with the education team
- Support the SLP in general caseload management as needed
- Engage in continued professional growth and training opportunities
