School Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) | Bonney Lake, Washington

Begin an exciting full-time opportunity supporting students as an SLPA for the upcoming school year. This contract position provides the chance to collaborate closely with a dedicated virtual SLP partner and play an essential role in direct service delivery. You’ll be working within a supportive educational environment, helping students reach their communication goals.
In this role, you will:
- Partner with a .5 FTE virtual SLP who manages a manageable caseload in the 30s.
- Deliver direct speech and language interventions to students as recommended by the supervising SLP.
- Support implementation of IEPs and therapy plans, adapting materials and activities to meet each student’s needs.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, session notes, and related documentation.
- Assist with generalization of speech and language skills into classroom and social activities.
- Communicate regularly with the supervising SLP, receiving ongoing guidance and mentorship.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and staff to integrate strategies that promote student achievement.
We are seeking candidates with:
- Active SLPA license for Washington State.
- Previous experience providing speech-language support to children, in school or healthcare settings.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative approach.
- Ability to work independently, take direction, and adapt to changing needs.
- Knowledge of therapy tools, assistive technology, and best practices for working in school environments is preferred.
