School Speech Language Pathologist Assistant | Sugar Land, Texas

Candidates will primarily be placed at a single school site, with the possibility of assisting at a second location based on needs and your proximity to the campuses. Your own skill level and experience will be considered when determining your caseload, which typically averages around 100 students. This role requires proficiency with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices—a critical component in helping students reach their full communicative potential.
Qualifications:
- Valid professional SLPA license required
- Demonstrated experience with AAC devices is essential
- Previous experience in school settings preferred
- Ability to work with both elementary and secondary age groups
- Must bring and use your own laptop for all job-related tasks
- Must pass state fingerprinting/background check and credentialing requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Implement individualized intervention plans for students using traditional and AAC modalities
- Document and report student progress efficiently and accurately
- Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to foster student success
- Adapt to caseload, possibly floating to a second school as needed
Flexible options may be available for part-time schedules (2.5 days per week at select campuses). The hiring process considers your location and experience to assign the best fit.
