With a primary school assignment and the possibility of floating to a second school located near your home, you'll play a key part in helping students communicate and thrive.
What we're looking for:
- Valid professional SLPA license in the state
- Previous experience supporting secondary-aged students (middle/high school preferred)
- Familiarity with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices is a strong plus
- Ability to manage a caseload of 80–90 students (caseload assigned based on experience)
- Must complete state fingerprinting and background check before the start date
- Experience in educational settings highly desired
- Positive, adaptable, and eager to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- On-site availability required (no remote options)
- Contract dates: August 11, 2026 – May 26, 2027
- Full-time (37.5 hours/week) or flexible part-time options (around 30 hours/week)
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect support to students with communication needs
- Implement treatment plans designed by speech-language pathologists
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with teachers and school teams to foster inclusive communication
- May assist across 1–2 schools, primarily at a single site
