Qualifications:
- Must possess a valid Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) license in the state of Texas
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Dedicated to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment
- Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services to elementary-aged students under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist
- Assist in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech, language, and communication challenges
- Collect and document student progress data accurately
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure the best outcomes for students
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to IEP discussions as required
- Maintain professional and ethical standards at all times
