Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) - Shingletown, CA

Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)
- Previous experience working in school settings, preferably with elementary and middle school students
- Familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and developing student goals
- Strong understanding of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, staff, and families
- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and diverse caseloads
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language services as prescribed by supervising Speech Language Pathologist
- Assist with screenings, assessments, and implementing individualized therapy plans
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with school and district guidelines
- Monitor and encourage student participation during sessions, supporting overall communication skill growth
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and related service professionals to support student success
- Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and ongoing professional development as required
