Qualifications and Experience:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited SLPA program
- Active Speech Language Pathologist Assistant license (state-specific)
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred, but motivated new graduates are welcome
- Passion for working with K-12th grade students, supporting diverse communication needs
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language services under the supervision of the lead SLP
- Help assess, track, and document student progress toward speech and language goals
- Assist in developing and implementing IEPs and group activities
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state regulations
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school staff to support generalization of skills
