Key Qualifications:

  • Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) is required
  • Experience working in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with supervising SLPs, educators, and fellow support staff
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Adaptability and enthusiasm for working with diverse student populations

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students under supervision of a licensed SLP
  • Support IEP implementation through data collection, observations, and progress monitoring
  • Adapt therapy activities and materials to suit individual student goals
  • Engage in collaboration with teachers, staff, and families to encourage student progress
  • Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with school and regulatory guidelines
  • Participate in meetings, professional development, and ongoing training as needed
