Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Texas SLP Assistant License (required)
- Background in school settings and/or healthcare environments
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach
- Comfortable working onsite with students and education teams
- Ability to perform assessments, assist in evaluations, and deliver therapy as directed by an SLP
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on support through direct therapy to students, guided by evaluation outcomes and treatment plans
- Assist with speech, language, and communication assessments and evaluations
- Collaborate with supervising SLPs, teachers, and other school staff to maximize student success
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and reporting in accordance with district guidelines
- Work within a 20–40 hour per week schedule onsite, adapting to caseload needs while delivering effective interventions
