Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Texas SLP license is required
- Background or experience in school-based or healthcare SLPA settings preferred
- Ability to work onsite and commit to between 20 and 40 hours per week
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Passion for helping school-aged children succeed
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services to students under the supervision of a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Assist with assessments and evaluations to help determine student needs and progress
- Help implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and track goals
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of interventions and student progress
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and other school staff to support student development
- Communicate effectively with families and caregivers about student progress
