You’ll be working at a single school site, helping children reach important communication milestones and supporting educational success.
Key Qualifications and Required Experience:
- Active FL DOH SLPA license in good standing.
- Prior experience supporting traditional school-based caseloads as an SLPA is highly valued.
- Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with students, educators, and families.
- Capability to quickly complete required background checks, including fingerprinting. (If previous fingerprint records are available through the AHCA Clearinghouse, verification and JLA badge procedures will be required.)
- Dedication to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech therapy services to a school-age caseload under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports according to district policies.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student learning goals and functional communication in the classroom.
- Foster a warm, encouraging environment that supports student self-confidence and growth.
