Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in Sacramento, CA

Working closely with a Speech-Language Pathologist, you’ll deliver targeted interventions, collaborate with classroom teachers, and maintain precise documentation, all in a setting focused on student growth and development.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active SLPA license or certification recognized by the state of California
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Strong understanding of speech and language development in elementary-aged students
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to students individually or in small groups based on their individualized goals
- Collect accurate student data, maintaining detailed progress notes and service documentation
- Collaborate closely with the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist regarding student progress and ongoing needs
- Work with teachers and staff to support students’ carryover of skills within the classroom setting
- Adapt materials and activities to meet specific student needs as directed by the supervising SLP
