Key Qualifications:
- Active SLPA license in California
- Experience or strong interest in an elementary school environment
- Familiarity with implementing speech/language therapy plans under the direction of an SLP
- Solid communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers and staff
- Passion for fostering growth and confidence in students
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language support to elementary-aged students according to individualized plans developed by the supervising SLP
- Assist with direct and indirect therapy services, including small group and one-on-one sessions
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school procedures
- Prepare and modify instructional materials as needed
- Support assessment and screening processes under the SLP’s guidance
- Participate in school meetings as requested and communicate student progress with staff
This role is part-time, scheduled for 3 days per week from as soon as possible through the end of the school year. You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate in a dynamic, supportive school setting while advancing your professional skills.
