Qualifications & Desired Experience
- Current and valid SLPA credential (credentialed candidates only)
- Experience working in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families
- Ability to follow established therapy protocols under a supervising Speech-Language Pathologist
- Availability for an immediate start and to commit through October 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Implement speech and language therapy activities as directed by the supervising SLP, targeting receptive, expressive, and pragmatic language skills
- Collect, document, and maintain accurate data on student progress
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support individual education plans (IEPs)
- Prepare therapy materials and modify activities to accommodate student needs
- Communicate regularly with supervisors, teachers, and families regarding student progress and needs
- Adhere to all district policies and procedures
