School-Based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
Location: Prather, California
Setting: School-Based — Elementary & Middle School
Schedule: Approximately 30 hours per week
Pay: $40–$45 per hour

Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide speech and language services to students in a school-based setting in Prather, CA. The SLPA will work with both elementary and middle school students and collaborate closely with the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist, teachers, and school staff to support students' communication needs.
Responsibilities
Provide direct speech and language services to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
Work with elementary and middle school students with a variety of communication needs.
Implement treatment activities and strategies developed by the supervising SLP.
Support students individually and/or in small groups.
Collect and document student data and progress.
Maintain accurate service documentation and records.
Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and the supervising SLP.
Participate in IEP-related activities and meetings as appropriate.
Communicate student progress and concerns with the supervising SLP.
Follow all school, district, and applicable professional requirements.
Qualifications
Current California Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) authorization/registration, as applicable.
Experience working with children is preferred.
School-based experience is a plus.
Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
Ability to work effectively with elementary and middle school students.
Reliable and professional with a student-centered approach.
Schedule & Compensation
Approximately 30 hours per week
$40–$45 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
School-based schedule aligned with student and school needs
Elementary and middle school caseload
