Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Current Virginia Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) license required
- Experience working with K-12 students preferred
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams
- Organized, reliable, and committed to student development
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language services to students as directed by supervising SLP
- Support and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students across assigned sites
- Document student progress and assist with reporting as needed
- Adapt therapy techniques based on each student’s unique needs
- Travel among schools within the following areas: Chesapeake, Isle of Wight County, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Southampton County, Suffolk, and Virginia Beach
- Work a consistent full-time schedule of 7.33 hours per day, Monday through Friday
