Key Qualifications:
- Active Virginia SLPA license required
- Previous experience working in school settings is highly valued
- Comfortable collaborating with supervising SLPs and other professionals
- Adaptable to a dynamic caseload serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Dedication to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language intervention services under the guidance of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist
- Participate in implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with communication disorders
- Collect data and maintain accurate records of student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to optimize student outcomes
- Assist in developing materials and activities tailored to students’ unique needs
- Rotate between assigned schools across the region as required to address caseload demands
