Qualifications & Skills:
- Active SLPA license for Texas
- Previous experience working in a school environment strongly preferred
- Knowledge of speech-language therapy protocols and supportive interventions
- Ability to follow treatment plans developed by Speech-Language Pathologists
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist Speech-Language Pathologists in the execution of student therapy plans
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions under supervision
- Collect and document data on student progress and participation
- Prepare therapy materials and resources
- Communicate regularly with teachers and family members regarding student needs and progress
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of student goals
- Support administrative tasks related to speech-language services
