Skills & Experience:
- Active SLPA license is required
- Previous experience in school settings preferred
- Solid understanding of speech and language development in children and adolescents
- Comfortable following treatment plans developed by an SLP
- Ability to track student progress and maintain detailed records
- Effective communicator and collaborative team member
Primary Responsibilities:
- Work under the supervision and guidance of a licensed SLP to implement therapy plans
- Conduct individual and small group speech-language sessions with students
- Support assessments and gather data on student progress
- Assist in preparing learning materials and managing therapy resources
- Document sessions, maintain compliance with school and district policies, and communicate student progress to supervising SLP and instructional staff
- Participate in team meetings as needed
