Speech Therapy Assistant - Parker, CO
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)! We are seeking three dedicated professionals—two full-time SLPAs and one part-time SLPA—to join school-based teams beginning August 12, 2026, and continuing through May 28, 2027.
As part of this role, you’ll work directly in one school building while serving students at various grade levels. The two full-time positions offer the chance to split your expertise between elementary and middle school settings, fostering growth and communication skills in diverse age groups. The part-time opening, spanning three days per week, involves collaborating with middle and high school students, ensuring you enjoy both variety and meaningful connections throughout your workweek.
What We’re Looking For:
- Active Colorado SLPA license (required)
- Previous experience in school-based speech-language pathology support preferred
- Understanding of IEPs, progress monitoring, and student documentation
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities with students, staff, and families
- Organized and able to manage flexible caseloads and settings
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver direct speech-language interventions to students as outlined in their Individualized Education Plans
- Assist in assessment, data collection, and reporting student progress
- Collaborate with supervising Speech-Language Pathologists and educational teams to optimize student outcomes
- Support inclusion and generalization of communication skills within educational environments
- Maintain accurate records and support school initiatives that foster student development
