You’ll manage a caseload averaging around 45 students, working on-site 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Your expertise will help students develop crucial speech and language skills, creating a profound impact on their educational journeys.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) or equivalent required
- Previous experience in a school-based setting highly desired
- Strong understanding of pediatric speech and language disorders
- Ability to cultivate supportive, professional relationships with students, teachers, and families
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement speech-language therapy plans under the supervision of an SLP
- Conduct small group and individual sessions with students, targeting IEP goals
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate closely with school staff and families
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
