Qualifications & Required Experience:
- Valid and active Florida Department of Health SLPA license
- Minimum 2 years as an SLPA, including at least 6 months of school-based experience
- Familiarity with elementary school settings and supporting a diverse student population
- Ability to work exclusively on-site (remote/virtual not available)
- Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language services to assigned students as outlined in their educational plans
- Collaborate with speech-language pathologists, teachers, and families to develop and implement effective therapy plans
- Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, progress, and outcomes
- Adapt therapy techniques to meet individual student needs and learning styles
- Follow district protocols, including timely credentialing, fingerprinting, and badge requirements
