Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) - Ontario, CA

Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or related field required
- Valid state licensure/certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant
- School-based or pediatric experience strongly preferred
- Previous healthcare or educational setting background highly regarded
- Skilled in supporting speech and language therapy and documentation
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
Role and Responsibilities:
- Work closely with supervising SLPs to deliver one-on-one and group interventions for students
- Implement individualized education plan (IEP) goals and therapeutic strategies
- Track and report student progress through accurate documentation and data collection
- Assist in preparing materials and organizing activities for student sessions
- Support classroom teachers and provide carryover suggestions for language and articulation goals
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities
- Adapt services for diverse student populations, fostering inclusion and successful outcomes
