Key Qualifications:
- Must hold an active Florida Department of Health SLPA license
- Previous experience supporting school-aged children preferred
- Ability to work across multiple school sites as assignments fluctuate
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Completion of Florida fingerprinting requirements, with options to verify or transfer prints or a JLA badge if applicable
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to students, collaborating closely with supervising Speech-Language Pathologists
- Serve a caseload of 50-55 students, ranging primarily across elementary and middle school ages
- Implement therapy plans and track student progress toward communication goals
- Utilize effective strategies to enhance speech, language, and communication outcomes in school settings
- Maintain data and ensure timely documentation according to district standards
- Travel between assigned school sites as required
