School Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - Monument, Colorado

This full-time, contract opportunity spans the entire school year, offering flexibility with either a Monday-Thursday or Monday-Friday schedule. The position is open to both Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) and Clinical Fellows (CFs) passionate about making a positive impact in school settings.
Qualifications:
- Active SLPA credentials or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CF)
- Enthusiasm for working with children and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
- Previous experience in an educational or pediatric setting preferred, but not required
- Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to supporting student goals
- Ability to adapt to varying caseloads and collaborate with supervising SLPs to deliver effective therapy
Responsibilities:
- Assist with conducting speech and language screenings, as well as implementing individualized therapy plans under direction of a licensed SLP
- Support students’ communication development within classroom and one-on-one settings
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to promote continuity of care and reinforce strategies
- Maintain detailed progress notes and monitor effectiveness of interventions
- Attend meetings and professional development sessions as required throughout the school year
