School Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) | Monument, Colorado
Exciting opportunities are now available for passionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) looking to make a meaningful difference in students’ lives! We’re seeking three dedicated SLPAs—two full time and one part time—to support diverse learners throughout the school year, starting August 12, 2026, and concluding May 28, 2027.
These roles span elementary, middle, and high school environments, giving you the chance to partner with experienced professionals and impact students at varying stages. Full-time SLPAs will share a dynamic caseload split between elementary and middle school students, while the part-time SLPA will provide support across both middle and high school levels. All services are based in a single building per assignment, ensuring you can truly get to know the school community you serve.
Qualifications:
- Current Colorado SLPA license required
- Experience in school settings preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with speech-language pathologists, educators, and families
- Enthusiasm for supporting students’ communication and academic success
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement speech and language therapy plans under the supervision of an SLP
- Provide individual and group sessions to students with varied needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes
- Support the speech team in conducting screenings and assessments
- Communicate updates and collaborate with staff and caregivers
This contract position offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours weekly for the two openings and a flexible, three-day schedule for the part-time position. You’ll enjoy the rewarding experience of working closely within one building per assignment, fostering strong connections with your students and colleagues.
