We're seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support students in an educational setting in Montrose, CO. The SLPA will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide therapy services and help students achieve their communication goals.
Position Details
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: 5/21/2027
- Part-time position
- Minimum of 3 days per week
- Primarily elementary school caseload
- Services provided across multiple school sites
- Includes support for one high school student utilizing an AAC device
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services under SLP supervision
- Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers
- Assist with documentation and implementation of student goals
Qualifications
- Active Colorado SLPA license
- Ability to work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Experience with AAC devices is a plus
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Passion for helping students reach their communication goals
