Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active SLPA license in Colorado (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience working in school settings preferred
- Strong understanding of child development and speech-language disorders
- Proficiency in providing direct intervention and working from treatment plans
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Skill in working effectively with diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Support certified Speech-Language Pathologists in the delivery of therapy services
- Implement individualized educational plans (IEPs) for students with speech and language needs
- Prepare and utilize lesson plans, aides, and materials for speech-language therapy sessions
- Accurately document and report student progress in accordance with school policies
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, families, and specialists
- Maintain a welcoming, inclusive, and productive learning environment
- Practice confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all interactions
