Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid SLPA professional license required.
- Prior experience in a school setting, particularly with secondary (middle/high school) populations, strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with AAC devices in educational environments; direct experience is a plus.
- Must complete state fingerprinting/background check as part of credentialing.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Adaptability and willingness to float between up to two school sites if needed.
- Please indicate if you have previously worked within the district.
- Candidates who have been terminated from a school district will not be eligible due to hiring affidavit requirements.
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language support services to an assigned caseload averaging 80–90 secondary-age students.
- Implement therapy activities and interventions as directed by a supervising SLP.
- Support IEP goals and accurately document student progress and activities.
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Utilize Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices with students as appropriate.
