Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Active SLPA licensure or eligibility in Virginia
- Experience in a school or pediatric setting strongly preferred
- Understanding of speech and language development in children
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to travel between two elementary locations within the district
- Comfortable working under virtual supervision
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language interventions to elementary-aged students following plans developed by supervising SLPs
- Maintain consistent communication with virtual supervisor and onsite school teams
- Document student progress and update case files in an accurate and timely manner
- Prepare and utilize therapy materials and activities tailored to individual student goals
- Support teachers and parents by sharing carryover techniques to reinforce communication skills in various settings
- Participate in team meetings, trainings, and professional development activities
