Qualifications:
- Current Arizona Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) certification
- Active Arizona IVP fingerprint clearance card
- Completion of high school or equivalent; college coursework in a related field is a plus
- Experience working in educational or pediatric therapy settings preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
- Support speech-language pathologists in implementing therapy plans for high school students
- Provide direct intervention services under supervision, following individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Track and document student progress accurately and timely
- Prepare therapy materials and assist with classroom activities as needed
- Participate in meetings and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to school and district protocols
